WHO WE ARE

We're a neighborhood-based coalition dedicated to protecting youth by implementing strategies to prevent harm and high-risk behaviors (alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs) in our community.

WHAT WE DO

We include key sectors of our community –  parents, youth, teachers, business and non-profit leaders, law enforcement officers, government officials, and youth-serving organizations to collectively address youth substance issues at the individual, family, and community levels. We facilitate school/community presentations, Town Hall meetings, and get together each month to strategize an environmental approach to promote wellness in our community.

WHO WE SERVE

We serve the Flagami neighborhood in the City of Miami (between the Palmetto Expwy and 47 Ave and SW 8th St. to NW 7 St.)

Coalición Esperanza’s mission is to plan and implement strategies that reduce risky behaviors, prevent harm, and promote wellness among youth through education, intervention, and the facilitation of access to treatment.
