NeighborNet, in partnership with local corporations and volunteers, provides community-serving events that distribute food, school supplies, books, toys, health information, and other necessities to our neighbors in need.
WHAT WE DO
NeighborNet provides community-serving events that distribute food, school supplies, books, toys, health information, and other necessities.
WHO WE ARE
NeighborNet is a community-serving partnership of local corporations, volunteers, and Hope for Miami team members.
WHERE WE SERVE
The NeighborNet community outreach events have taken place in the following Miami-Dade County neighborhoods: Flagami, Hialeah, Little Havana, Cutler Bay, Dadeland, and W. Kendall through our network of partners. The Hope for Miami headquarters in Flagami at 5911 W. Flagler Street has served as the location for many of these events.
OUR RESULTS
In 2023, more than 2,000 families registered and attended one of our community events. This was accomplished through the mobilization of 300 volunteers assisting with events and through corporate donations and our partners: Newell Brands, Marcum LLC, Walmart, Amazon, Target, Feeding South Florida, City of Miami Police, Alter’d States clothing store, Walgreens, and Fresco y Mas.
CALL TO ACTION
You could donate supplies through your business or personal connections or you may participate as a volunteer in one of our large events. Corporate or school group volunteers are also welcome to inquire about the creation of a specific community event for your organization.
